  1. Now, by denigrating this Ya-Ya's reissue as a commodity and by questioning the album's canonization in general, I don't mean to imply this set doesn't cook. Even if it's not larded with 20-minute workouts, Ya-Ya's is manna for guitar freaks, thanks to the fiery interplay between the immortal Keith Richards and inarguably the greatest lead guitarist the Stones ever boasted, Mick Taylor.
  2. What Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out! sounds most like is the 60s waning before your very ears. There are flashes of greatness, but the white-knuckle innovation of 1965-67 has audibly gone, replaced by complacent jamming.

Simply the best live R&R album recorded/released. Everything, especially the guitars of Richards and Mick Taylor are just fantastic.

Jagger, Watts, all at the top of their games.
The addition of the last five tracks makes this even better than the album I wore out a couple times in the 70's.
Some people think the duelling guitar solos in Street Fighting Man are great,...but the guitar in Can't Get No Satisfaction, the last song on this newly released album is mighty tasty as well.
It doesnt matter how loud I play it,...I can't make it sound bad. And the the neighbours never complain.
That's gotta say something Ya?,...Oh Ya!
    Rockin'
