In places, it's intense, heavy and oppressive, but Uondapaturu and Skeleton Island pull off the trick of satisfying both party hedonists and those simply seeking gratification within the confines of their headphones. [Aug 2013, p.91]

In many ways Ghost Systems Rave is as bumpy and nerve-jangling as a joyride in a stolen Ford Fiesta. Whether that's your idea of fun or not, no one could ever claim it's clean and healthy.

It’s big, heavy, and worthy to soundtrack plenty of dancefloors. The only thing Ghost System Rave is arguably missing is the real personality from its creators.

It gets tiresome to listen to 14 bangers in a row. Had the duo distilled the finest cuts from its massive tracklist into something a bit sleeker, Ghost Systems Rave could have been an absolutely smashing release.

Ghost Systems Rave has it's great songs such as gothic north and skeleton island, but throughout the album, the type of beats and tempo staysGhost Systems Rave has it's great songs such as gothic north and skeleton island, but throughout the album, the type of beats and tempo stays constant through all the songs. This isn't a terrible thing since it makes for a consistent album and this is a techno/electro album, so I didn't expect much. But even though this is a consistent album, it becomes repetitive and I lost interest many times. The good news on this album is that all the songs are really what I call "Night Songs". "Night Songs" are songs that are perfect to listen to at night or when you are just thinking. It is a really soothing album even with it's electronic beats. Collapse
