    The second half of the album is a little bit less direct in its approach, leaning more on the natural beauty of Lipstate's sonics rather than pronounced melody, but there's plenty of detail to turn over here as well.

    Often when an artist gets stronger, the music becomes more universal, and reference points become easier to hear. It may sound paradoxical, but these evocations help make Glacial Glow distinct.

  1. Noveller is the pseudonym of Sarah Lipstate, a very atmospheric musician from NYC. She should definitely try at film scores for she has a great gift at expressing emotions with intrumental compositions. Glacial Glow suggests some frosty music but in fact is full of warmth.
