  1. The problem is, Go Hard's constantly unsure if it wants to top the charts of its own accord, dominate Radio 1 with big-name collaborations or avoid getting friendly with the mainstream at all, and so flits between the three hoping no one will notice.
  2. Go Hard is worth a listen, if only to laugh at all the bravado.
  3. Uneven it may be, but when his goofy rhymes catch sparks against a noxious mix of grime, electro and funky house it’s dazzling.
  4. This album works best when it does what it implores and makes its beats go four to the floor: a heavy take on Salt-n-Pepa's Push It is among the best things here. But this is a record let down by odd decisions, chief among them being an awful slowed-down vocal effect that acts as its recurring motif.

It's the gritty funk of the title track and production turns from Mark Ronson and Donae's that make this an outstanding hip hop album, establishing Bizzle as a worthy rival to the similarly eclectic Dizzee Rascal. [Nov 2009, p.109]

The results of his previous work have sometimes felt opportunistic and Go Hard is no different. [Nov 2009, p.90]
