Say what you will about Fred Durst... You'll get very little argument from me there — But Wes Borland is an amazing guitarist, and to say Limp Bizkit has no talent is just plain ignorant. No, this definitely isn't what I would consider a great album, but if you've ever been even mildly intrigued by Limp's sound, I think you'll find a lot to like about this record. One of their best IMO.Say what you will about Fred Durst... One of their best IMO. Reminds me of "3 Dollar Bill Y'all" which was the album that initially got me interested in them. Don't get me wrong... I totally dumped them when they made "nookie" and "rollin'" — but it's nice to see a '90s band come back and make better music than they did for the majority of their heyday. Expand

Maybe I don't like the new sound, or maybe I was expecting more, but I did not like this album. I did like a few songs, but most of it was **** Sorry.

This is a surprisingly decent effort all things considered. It would seem that Wes Borland really makes a difference when it comes to this band. Good energy, it rocks, and it entertains for a bit.

Some great songs with awesome solos were ruined by terrible production. Shark Attack, Get a Life, Shotgun, Douche Bag and Walking Away are outstanding songs. Unfortunately, the rest are mediocre.

The album plays to the band's strengths, but there's simply nothing here as catchy as "My Way" or as infectiously fun as "Break Stuff."

    Oft-delayed, petulant, and hook-devoid "comeback." [1 Jul 2011, p.74]

Gold Cobra reminds us of how much fun a tight, no-holds-barred rap-metal record can be in the right hands.
