    Jay Lane clearly understands how to complement Claypool's busy bass lines and LaLonde's unconventional guitar playing, and his drumming fits in really, really well with the group.

    The writing is more a series of creepy pranks than a set of tunes, but Claypool, guitarist Larry LaLonde and drummer Jay Lane are a tight knottyrhythm team, and their propulsion under the comic vocals in "Tragedy's a'Comin' " and in the manic marching jam "Last Salmon Man" is no monkey business.

    What an amazing LP.
    Not as much revolutionary as Sailing The Seas Of Cheese, but great anyways.

    For me this has been the best album so far this year. Hennepin Crawler, Eyes of the Squirrel, Jilly's on Smack, Moron TV, and Green RangerFor me this has been the best album so far this year. Hennepin Crawler, Eyes of the Squirrel, Jilly's on Smack, Moron TV, and Green Ranger are simply Primus classics. Great stuff from start to finish.… Full Review »
