JackieJun 30, 200210I'm shocked this album isn't doing as good as I think it could. It's incredible from beginning to end. *salutes. Walks away*

RobMay 2, 20025The songs are superb (except for the four the "other guy" sings. That's a bad habit they need to stop.

RobbieWApr 9, 20079This CD Is not as Punk as Dizzy Up The Girl or any of the CDs before, but it's still clearly the Goo Goo Dolls, perhaps more mature. There is not one song on this CD that I do not like. Of course there are only a couple of songs by The Goo Goo Dolls that I don't like!

MarcWAug 24, 20037This is a fine album with some really deep tracks. The good songs are all classic Rzenik numbers similar to 'Iris', 'Name' and 'Long Way Down'. However, there is no track which will become ingrained in your mind such as those in 98's 'Dizzy Up the Girl', which in my opinion is still the best Goos album. Great job though.

A good, professional rock record, one that sells their sound as if it was as the most commercial imaginable, resulting in one of their most consistent albums.

60There's still a whiff of contrivance about it that spoils the good work. [May 2002, p.112]

Gutterflower proves once again that they are masters at crafting instantly appealing pop songs.
