Some tracks are pretty, some are ominous and haunting, a few are just plain fun, but all the songs on the Hanna OST are quality electronica from one of the genre's foremost acts.

An uncharacteristically stripped-back, lo-fi production which perfectly suits the unsettling plot line of the Eastern Europe-based thriller.
  3. May 27, 2011
The Brothers have managed to maintain the integrity of their signature hook-laden, driving tracks, yet as a whole, Hanna serves the scenes for which it was composed. [May 2011, p.89]

Hanna mostly wins in the sea of Hollywood action soundtracks, but it's marginal as a Chemical Brothers album (I prefer it to their dry, overstuffed mid-decade works).
  5. 60
It's all delivered with their usual panache, though at times the emphasis on utility leaves one yearning for a little of their more psychedelic extremity.
  6. Apr 22, 2011
None of the tracks on Hanna do more than they have to, but at least they do that much.
  7. Apr 22, 2011
Front to back, it's not a terrible listen, and it suffices as "movie background music," but it's not destined to be remembered as one of the great soundtracks of our time.

If Daft Punk can do Tron than by God why can't The Chemical Brothers do a soundtrack too. Hanna's soundtrack is energetic, dark and trippy. And it fits with the mood of the film perfectly and consider one The Brothers' greatest achievements. Full Review »
