The low points are so few-and-far-between that they’re nearly forgotten once you get to the zesty, one-two punch finale of “Rollercoaster” and “Comeback.”

The album loses some momentum around the more generic “Strangers”. But even with that song, the harmonies are hard to resist. It’s the best pop comeback – and likely one of the best pop albums – of the year.

Happiness Begins feels immediate in way so many big pop albums of the twilight of the 2010s do not, but individual tracks are crafted to slide onto as many cross-genre play lists as possible.

Despite not being the most innovative pop record in 2019. ... Happiness Begins is the best effort the brothers have put forth in their career together or separately.

Happiness Begins is by no means an extraordinary album, but it’s a respectable showing from a group that has long deserved more respect than they’ve received.

This album is interesting in that it is so much of the brothers but such different souls on the album than what we knew before this album. This album is interesting in that it is so much of the brothers but such different souls on the album than what we knew before this album. They bare their souls on this album and it speaks on the ups and downs of general life as a band that couldn’t quite find the exact right way or sound to come back with, it talks about the love they have for their wives, and even the Rollercoaster that was their lives before the Happiness Begins again. Being a dedicated fan from the beginning, I was so nervous to hear what they came back with, but they exceeded my expectations and quite honestly, this is now the soundtrack of summer! Enjoy this album we’ve waited forever for. Expand

Cohesion doesn't equal sounding the same. Happiness Begins is one of the stronger pop albums of recent times. Expand

A bad and cringeworthy album. The only decent track is Sucker. A lot of tracks sound familiar(e.g. Love Her sounds almost the same as LoveA bad and cringeworthy album. The only decent track is Sucker. A lot of tracks sound familiar(e.g. Love Her sounds almost the same as Love Yourself by Justin Bieber). Only Human, Every Single Time and Happy When I'm sad are so awkward. The lyrics are meaningless most of the time. The production is boring. Nick and Joe's voice are decent mostly though.
Also the band so be called "Nick and Joe Jonas" instead. Wth did Kevin Jonas do???
Also the cover art is just trash.
And STOP referencing Game Of Thrones just because your wife plays a role.
