Harakiri is one of the most powerful albums I've ever heard. Serj Tankian is master lyricist and an inspiring artist! I am looking forward to his next album!

This is the best Serj Tankian's work. Very strong music and well written lyrics. Some songs remind aggression of Serj from SOAD's albums. This aggression was missing in previous albums.

truly a great a work from serj. the whole album has some very unique moments, the low point in the album is figure it out, and the rest is pure mastery

only real critic is that it takes a bit to get carried away by the music

A stunning album from a real genius. Beautifully crafted and masterfully written. This is probably the best rock album of the year so far. The album is truly inspiring. The only problem is that I wish there was more.

it's great album from Serj, could easily be considered as one of the best his of his solo projects. Some 5-star songs in it, like "Occupied Tears" and "Harakiri". Though there are some weeker songs like "Cornucopia"

As ever, his lyrics are oblique yet thought-provoking, if sometimes unwieldy. [Sep 2012, p.112]

Though occasionally difficult to digest, 'Harakiri' is nevertheless a worthwhile and intriguing listen.

In summary, it's a good album and a perfect indication of the progress Tankian has made and will continue to make as a musician.
