    "Wheel" is one of the best songs ever. This is John Mayer Best album out of the 4(I love all of them). John Mayer has alot of detractors just because he has so many fans but he is a great artist. Blending soft rock with blues, he is amazing. If you like John Mayer try " Justin Nozuka" !!!!!… Expand

    While Mayer is a very capable musician, the hushed, back-of-the-throat affectation of his vocals grates after awhile, as does his overarching pretentiousness. This isn't the worst album ever, but I also think that in 20 years Mayer will only be remembered on "Soft Rock of the 00's" compilations sold on late night tv.… Expand

    "Inside Wants Out" . . Great, "Room for Squares" . . . Fantastic, "Any Given Thursday" . . . A sign of GREAT things to come. "Heavier Things" . . . What the f*** happened. Don't get me wrong I think Mayer is an amazing guitarist when he lets the blues flow, but heavier things is simply a jumble of effects, and weak riffs.… Expand
