  • Summary: Originally conceived as a solo project for Cursive's frontman Tim Kasher, the Omaha band now releases its fourth album.

It’s Kasher’s knack for minimalism that moves Help Wanted Nights as it flows in and out, building and falling with intensity.
  2. Help Wanted Nights finally finds Kasher challenging himself again, imposing constraints and seeing how well he can work within them.
  3. 70
Almost every one of these twangy, homespun gems finds him in the heat of romantic battle--taunting, eviscerating or pleading with a lover or an ex.
  4. Mojo

There's the unmistakable whiff of eternal under-achievement that pervades cute but forgettable ditties like 'Share Of Men' and 'Heartbroke.' [Oct 2007, p.98]
  5. The songs on Help Wanted Nights are all solid, simple, yet melodic, about running away from home and trying to find home and breaking up, but nothing really stands out.
  6. Under The Radar
    60
Musically, this is the most ambitious album they have undertaken, and they preform admiraby on songs like 'Share of Men.' [Summer 2007, p.73]
  7. Kasher wrote this as the soundtrack to his screenplay, but on this evidence it could debut on The Hallmark Channel.

This cd was amazing. The reviewers need to research the band and the genre and take into consideration many more things.

Tim Kasher is still amazing people. The day he writes a bad album call me up and i will personally reimburse your purchase. It's still Tim Kasher is still amazing people. The day he writes a bad album call me up and i will personally reimburse your purchase. It's still The Good Life but with a different kind of twist I don't know how to describe. If you've only heard Heartbroke, get this album at once - it is nothing like the rest of the record. I really love it. Still can't stop humming Keely Aimee. You Don't Feel Like Home To Me is a perfect example of what this band is capable of and is them at their shimmering best. So Let Go proves Kasher still has the ability to make you weep like he did on Novena On a Nocturn. Pick it up asap! Expand
