  1. Hollandaze is a compelling enough release on feel alone, an album that smartly incorporates a subtle sense of tension, preventing its gauzy textures from devolving into directionless bliss-outs.

    A blindingly good debut.

    Hollandaze is an impressive debut.

The production does justice to the 80s-underground-evoking mix of surf, punk, industrial and shoegaze.

Their energy is utterly thrilling and secondly, Hollandaze hints at so much more and should ensure that Tzenos is not reduced to journalistic footnote of merely being a cuddly version of Big Black.
