   Hurry Up, We're Dreaming contains such a quantity of melancholia and mood we don't know where to head, and therefore preferred to cram up by choosing the dual format, even at the risk of upsetting the listener. A gamble at this time.
   
   Yet more than a collection of singles, Hurry Up, We're Dreaming should rather be seen as an affirmation: M83 is a significant group who has the necessary legitimacy to the achievement of an album of this magnitude.… Collapse

   Hurry Up, We're Dreaming is a 2 disc collection of pure epicness and bliss we don't usually get in the top 40 nowadays and that's a good thing. The standouts include Midnight City, Reunion, Steve McQueen & OK Pal. Overall, Hurry Up, We're Dreaming is an amazing experience and will keep the listener coming back for more of M83's material.… Expand

   The sonic love child of an 80's pop synth cover of 90's Pumpkins electronica colliding with mainstream Sigur Ros-esque soundscapes drowning Kings of Leon...ok so perhaps that analogy is a tad unfair but M83's waves of nostalgia is what provides this ultimately failed epic album some acclaim. Cut down to 12 tracks and like with Mellon C there'd be a classic here but the second disc amounts to little and seems rather directionless in comparison to the grandiose first. ok pal, midnight city, reunion, intro, outro, fountains, claudia and even the slightly grating Steve McQueen are the standouts.… Expand
