I was really dissapointed in this cd because it strayed away from the punk music that Saves the Day was started on. All the songs sound exactly the same and they all have that pop sound to them, sniff, has STD lost its "punkness", they are comming out with a new cd soon and I only hope its different b/c after listening to this one, STD is nothing close to the punk band they used to be. Could this really be the end??? Expand

Yeah the musicianship is great but the songs are kinda boring and don't pack much punch.

The lyrics and rythmns are somwhat repetitive and boring, but i would agree that the musicianship is better.

  1. There'll be plenty of emo kids disappointed by STD's move out of the emo ghetto with In Reverie. Don't let their posturing keep you from exploring a fantastic pop record.

Conley could use a few more breakups to check his sentimentality. [Oct 2003, p.126]
  3. The band's poppiest and most upbeat and musical record yet.
