    Four Year Strong are still trying to define where they want to be as a band. Their newest efforts has reflections of their previous fantastic albums but then lose their way with non-catchy dull tunes such as Fairweather Fan and Only the Meek Get Pinched.

    This album was just in time for me. I expected it to be different, and no one can say that it's a "bad" different. It's not just "definitive".
    I've talked on previous reviews about how a band matures, and there is always one album that is somehow in between styles - I think that's what this album is for 4YS.     I've talked on previous reviews about how a band matures, and there is always one album that is somehow in between styles - I think that's what this album is for 4YS. And I'm actually fearfull in what that will reasult, because this album is much lighter than their previous albums and is much more rock oriented, rather then the usual Power Punk that they introduced us to with last album (which I find to be absolutely perfect 10/10), and since I count ISWSOF to be just a phase, the end product could be really different from what 4YS stand for, though I really hope it isn't.
    Above that - the album is very nicely polished, has songs that range from inspiring to hyping, though I find myself not listening to the entirety of it most of the time. Not that it has filler songs, but it has some songs that I feel don't fit 4YS' style.
    The album starts really, really strong - these is not a single song that I don't like in the first half of the album. However, it all goes down from there and I can't even remember the later songs - I just don't care about them.
    I consider this album an experiment, and overall - I like half of it, and the other half I don't even remember.
    I'm giving it a 7/10 because I like what I remember, and I do like it a lot. Also, I trust 4YS in their transformation, because if they just manage to keep the energy of their songs, along with the melodic singing - I think it's safe to say that 4YS is immortal.    … Expand

    "We live in a time bomb that's ticking down" begins the lead single... If they keep producing music like this, their time bomb may blow up in their faces soon enough.
