Britney released her best album yet. She transformed herself from a sexy young teenager to a provocative young woman. In the Zone takes listeners though a journey of different styles of music. From Hard hitting dance tracks, to dirty ghetto Hip Hop to viby trance tracks to beautiful peaceful ballads. This album shows Britney at her best. This album made critics label her ?The New Madonna?. Me Against The Music ? This is the lead single from the album. It is the infamous duet featuring Madonna. It is a hard hitting club dance track any is very different from what is on the radios these days. The track is just about being in a club and being oblivious to everyone and freestyling. I couldn?t think of a better way for a come back song. Britney could have released a typical R&B track for her return, but she wanted to be unique. She has definetly succeeded. This is my 2nd Favourite track on the album and one of my favourite songs of all time. 10/10 (I Got That) Boom Boom ? This track is an Up-tempo Hip Hop track perfect for the clubs. The track has also has an Indian vibe to it. This track features the Ying Yang Twins, which gives the track a dirty ghetto, feel to it. This song is my 3rd Favourite song on the album, and is one of the best Hip Hop songs I have ever heard. 10/10 Showdown ? The famous UK producers Bloodshy & Avant produced this track. It is a great sexy dance track which features Britney whispering ?I don?t wanna be a tease. Would you undo my zipper please? This track is done very well. Again very unique. 9/10 Breathe On Me ? This song is very club-savvy orientated and is one of the most sensual tracks on the album. The song has a HOT beat and is reminiscent to Kylie?s Can?t Get You Out Of My Head. This track describes the intensity of a relationship so hot that they don?t even need to touch, just breathe. This is my Favourite track on the album and one of my favourite songs of all time. I can automatically see this song go #1 in Europe if it is released. 10/10 Early Mornin ? The second this track commences you will automatically know that it is Moby produced. This track is very sexy and has a trance feel to it. The song is very vibey and is about the next morning after a big night out. 8.5/10 Toxic ? This is the second single from the album which is produced by Bloodshy & Avant. The song is HOT and fits Britney perfectly. The track is a hard hitting dance track which could easily be used as the theme song to Alias or the next bond movie.This is the track responsible for rising her album sales all around the world. Critics are describing it the best song Britney has released since I?m A Slave For You. I love this track so much because of its uniqueness. 10/10 Outrageous ? This is a typical R&B penned track. The second the song commences you will automatically realise it is R Kelly produced. This song is again perfect for the clubs and has an Indian vibe to it. The chorus is very catchy. 10/10 Touch Of My Hard ?This is the most sensual song on the album. This song is a beautiful dance ballad reminiscent to Madonna?s The Power Of Goodbye & Janet?s That?s The Way Love Goes. This song is an ode to masturbation. The song is Britney?s most mature song to date and has a sexy vibe to it. This is definitely a stand out track on the album. 10/10. The Hook-Up ? Redzone, the famous team behind the Britney/Madonna duet, produced this track. This song has an R&B reggae feel to it and is fairly uptempo. This Is what we call a filler track and one of the less memorable on the album. 5/10 Shadow ? This track is a beautiful ballad produced by The Matrix. This is very reminiscent to Avril?s I?m With You. This track shows Britney?s vocals at its best. I personally think this is her best ballad since Don?t Let Me Be The Last To Know. 10/10 Brave New Girl ? This song brings back the days Britney was innocent. In every album she has to bring out the stupidness in her. She has done exactly that in this track. This track is very pop driven and could be used as the theme song to Legally Blonde. I personally think it is The worst song on the album and one of the worst songs I have ever heard. 1/10 The only reason I give it a 1 is because it is Britney. Every Time ? This song is very peaceful and pleasant. It tells the story of heartbreak. The track features a beautiful harmony and goes well with the mood of the sound. She sings in lower key although it fits the song perfectly. Again another brilliant ballad from Britney. 10/10 Me Against The Music (Remix) ? This is remix to the First Single. The song was remixed by Peter Rishi and an Indian vibe has been added to it. The song is still very clubby and is probably one of the best remixes I have ever heard. 10/10 The Answer ? This is the Australian bonus track and is produced by P Diddy. The song has an R&B mid tempo flow to it. I really liked this song, but I was disappointed at the same time. When I heard the idea of Britney & P Diddy working together I was expecting an up tempo R&B track, although it was completely the opposite. 9/10 Don?t Hang Up ? This is another Australian bonus track. The song is mid tempo and again has an R&B pop flow to it.This song is about Phone Sex. This song was produced by the same team behind Brave New Girl. I personally don?t like this song and think she should never work with Brian & Josh again. 3/10. ALL IN ALL I LOVE THIS CD AND I DON?T THINK IT COULD HAVE GOTTEN ANY BETTER.     This is Britney's best album. She is an incredible artist. Britney is a true performer and she doesn't bash other female artists like she's better than them. Britney is talented, real, beautiful, and humble. She is also giving. This album is amazing.

    Each song is amazing. Britney has put together a fierce, dance club party record. Thrown in are her 2 strongest ballads to date. Best Pop Album of the Year!

    Britney deserves some major credit for this album. It is soulful, catchy, sexual, and in my own opinion very very truthful. She continues to take risks and put her self out there. The CD has "something for everybody" if you are into hip-hop check out "Boom Boom", if its sexy and sultry music you like catch "Touch of my Hand" or "Breathe on Me". But! quite frankley, I'm sure half of ya'll never even listened to the CD! I sometimes think Brittany can be a little outrageous with her appearance, but thats why shes doin it in America!     Dyanamite! This is Britney's best cd yet, and she doesn't get the credit she deserves. The people who gave the cd a zero either have bad taste, or didn't even give it a chance. The cd is edgy, and makes you wanna hit the dance floor. It's definately one of my top favorite cd's of all time. Your missing out if you don't buy it.

MATM with Madonna was a nice lead track to get people talking Britney esp after her performance with Madonna and Christina during the VMAs then choosing Toxic to show she's truely back followed by Great album to come back with. Britney hits such high points all over this album starting with Toxic, Everytime, Shadow, (I Got That) Boom Boom, and Outrageous. Hits all over the place. MATM with Madonna was a nice lead track to get people talking Britney esp after her performance with Madonna and Christina during the VMAs then choosing Toxic to show she's truely back followed by Everytime bringing her back to the slow tracks she does so well. Outrageous her 4th single was destined to be her next hit with the possibility of hitting a Top 25 or even Top 10 status failed due to the cancelation of her tour and the video due to an injury keeping her from completing the task. If Britney would have been able to do something different with any of the songs left as a closer it would have been a nice lead out before releasing her Greatest Hits album during the start of the 4th Quarter. In The Zone is basically one of Britney's best albums with promising hopes of continued music experimenting and excellent producers and writings from others and Britney herself.… Expand

    I love this album and the fact that Britney actually put some effort into it. In the Zone is, in my opinion, her magnum opus, although most people prefer Blackout over it. My favourite tracks are Toxic and Touch of My Hand!

    One of Britney's most amazing albums. the tracks are amazing with great vocals, beats, and lyrics. standouts include Me Against The Music, I Got That (Boom Boom), Breathe On Me, Toxic,and Outrageous. There could have been at least another ballad.... but hey? It's mostly dance so it's all good!

Plus, tracks that shows a complete different Britney, a girl that has find what she is and is not afraid to show it to the world.

    If there was a way for me to convey how much I love this album, I would do so. This was a favorite of mine growing up, and it still sounds fresh with each listen. "Toxic" and "Everytime" are so haunting and wonderful and lovely and perfect; I can't say much else.

    A masterpiece, I love all the songs. This album and Blackout are the best of Britney. My favorite songs are Toxic, Shadow, Oustrage, I Got That Boom Boom, Me Against The Music, Everytime. There is no bad song.

    Britney's best work (after Blackout). Toxic is such a timeless song, and so are the sexual BOPs Breathe On Me and Touch Of My Hand. She definitely hit her artistic peak around this time.

    In my humble opinion, "In the Zone" is THE best album of all time. This album was such an extreme transition from her previous three albums. Britney had already started to be more involved in her music and to sound more mature on her third studio album "Britney" (2001) and she already experimented a little bit with different genres on that album but she took it to another level with "InIn my humble opinion, "In the Zone" is THE best album of all time. This album was such an extreme transition from her previous three albums. Britney had already started to be more involved in her music and to sound more mature on her third studio album "Britney" (2001) and she already experimented a little bit with different genres on that album but she took it to another level with "In the Zone". The album is incredibly diverse. There’s songs with major hip-hop influences ("Outrageous" & "Boom Boom"), electropop songs ("Toxic"), R&B ("Early Mornin"), reggae ("The Hook Up"), some dancehall and rock influences ("Showdown") and dance pop ("Breathe On Me"). Multiple songs on the album also have a nice underlying oriental sound to them. The only song that reminds you of Britney‘s previous albums is the poppy "Brave New Girl", which sounds like "Anticipating"'s little sister. The entire record is extremely sensual and must’ve been a huge shock to every fan (and their parents) who had signed up for bubblegum teen pop like "...Baby One More Time" or "Oops!...I Did It Again". Not only does Britney sing about sex ("Breathe On Me"), but she also sings about phone sex ("Don’t Hang Up") and even masturbation ("Touch of My Hand"). Her voice has also never sounded sexier than it does on this record. Britney tried hard to escape from her innocent teen pop Queen image and she did it with class. This album was for Britney what "Erotica" (1992) had been for Madonna or "janet." (1993) for Janet Jackson. To this day it’s the album that Britney had the most involvement in as she co-wrote 9 of the 14 songs on the album. The album rarely gets personal as it’s mostly about sex and becoming a woman but there are a few personal moments. There is the iconic completely self-written ballad about her breakup from Justin Timberlake "Everytime", which was her response to his "Cry Me a River"). The second ballad on the album, "Shadow", could also be about the same topic. Then there’s "Outrageous", which addresses fame, Britney’s public image and scandals. "Brave New Girl" is about Britney finding new confidence and becoming a woman. We don’t even have to talk about the singles. "Me Against the Music" is one of the most iconic collaborations of all time and still an extremely danceable bop and "Toxic" is the definition of iconic and probably Britney‘s biggest hit ever. "Everytime" is Britney‘s most successful ballad and that’s fine because it’s also her best in my opinion. This album is perfection from start to finish and never ever gets boring.     Even there’s a legend who named Blackout i still love this album more and i think this is her best. I love almost all of the tracks but especially Breathe on Me... i mean i guess i’ll still be listening it at the age of 80. I hope she came with some good stuff if she even wants to record an album.
