Meh. That's really all that I can say about this album. It's so bland that I can't even get up the energy to hate any of these songs. It's just one big swath of blah. There are certainly better Rancid albums and there are certainly better punk and ska bands than Rancid.

I do not think there is a bad track on this album. For me it seems Rancid have become better in the later albums, the mix of ska and punk rock combined with an almost gospel sounding organ in most of their songs gives them a totally unique sound. And fall back down is just a quality tune!

After ten years, Rancid's still-rock-solid kinship is evident in their lock-step chemistry. [Oct 2003, p.108]
  2. It often lacks the charge of inspired discovery that accompanied its '90s predecessors.
  3. Their warmest album ever.
