[The album] is diverse in the songs' styles and themes. [Oct 2012, p.96]

Minus The Bear may have returned to the style that made their name, but there is still enough mileage in that sound to ensure that 'Infinity Overhead' is a marked improvement on their previous album.

The album touches on just about every idea that has made this group a big deal in the first place, but it lacks the sex-appeal of the group's last full length, OMNI, and misses the adventure of Planet of Ice.

Though Infinity Overhead isn't exactly a return to form for Minus the Bear, it does find them moving back toward what they do best, and is a step in a promising direction for fans hoping for the band to return to the more vigorous sound of Menos el Oso.

A step backwards, demonstrating that to rehash old sounds you need to prop them up with new tunes.

At points, the overly sappy lyrics are sung with fervor and match the passion put into the music, but ultimately, the album doesn't feel cohesive.

Like OMNI, this record seems a bit trite.

Another exciting and engaging effort from Minus the Bear. They may not be breaking any new ground here, but at least I know all is well in the world.
