Mix Lemon Jelly with Mike Oldfield, add little Boards of Canada and you get this, very refreshing art/alternative album, which are not popping out all that often! Public Service Broadcasting is painting here great musical canvases with nice selection of samples from old movies and tv programmes. Top song pick: Night Mail

This came as A nice surprise. Bought it without knowing what to expect and I find really entertaining. Time has to show if it has duration but I will definately have it on for some time during the summer

Their UPS lies in their assured threading of post-war archive material from StudioCanal, the BFI and old propaganda reels through Avalanches-style musical collages, [Jul 2013, p.80]

When they equal their best source material, they're brilliant; but when that material is merely daft, they're less good. [Jun 2013, p.104]
  3. This often sounds more like a BBC4 documentary than a pop record. And that's no bad thing.
