    The slower tracks feel out of place and disrupt the flow of the album, but the highlights, especially the opening tracks, are as good as anything Pontiak has done before.

    An occasional retread, Innocence remains difficult to dismiss.

    These slower songs aren't just mellow, they're mundane, and their inclusion leaves Innocence feeling lopsided, a oft-killer rock record with nasty balladry habit.

    I was new to Pontiak until Echo Ono which I thought was great. I like the anthemic approach on Innocence even more.
