  1. It ends up that most unusual of things, a stadium rock album with a personality of its own.
  2. Hiccups aside, Intensive Care is the first album in a while on which the whole thing gives the impression that even when he misses, Robbie Williams is at least trying.
  3. It's Robbie The Rogue's least immediate album and needs several listens to get to grips with, but Intensive Care feels like Robbie has allowed himself freedom of expression, even if he doesn't always know how best to use it.
  4. Uncut

The songs often seem over-anxious to build to show-stopping choruses. [Nov 2005, p.94]

For all its rosy glow of nostalgia, it's essentially just another Robbie Williams album--occasionally spectacular, more frequently merely solid. [Nov 2005, p.116]
  6. An average effort with hints of greatness.
  7. Lyrically the record is less cringe inducing than 'Escapology' but Robbie has been let off the leash for a while in this respect, and while sometimes he can be funny, he needs people to tell him when he's being trite and just downright embarrassing.

This is mainly due to the fact the every song is above average, unlike Escapology and Sing when ....... With the opening lines "here i stand victorious, the only man who made you come" proves that robbie has'nt lost his cockyness. This abum hase many highlights including Ghosts, Tripping, make me pure, Advertising space, Please don't die, Trouble with me, sin sin sin, place to crash. this is another robbie album that will definitly deliver many classic hit sinles. Definetly a more mature album. Takes a few listens to get into, but the more you hear it the better it gets.

Robbie Williams is an idiot and this album is TERRIBLE! Tripping is most probably the worst song recorded this decade. Older stuff is good. Robbie Williams is an idiot and this album is TERRIBLE!
