Got this CD a year ago and it hasn't come close to wearing out its welcome--in fact it gets better with every listen, and has proved to be the most personally influential music I've listened to in years. The melody is vastly haunting yet warmly inviting...get it now!

Incredible amounts of awesomeness lie within this album, what are you waiting for? This has got to be one of my favorite albums of all time. Give it a listen! You won't regret it at all!

  1. The style is cool, the moves perfect, but you can take as much of lasting value from a stick of gum as you can from these dank-basement stomps.

So rewind to indie-rock the way Mark E. Smith started it: reduced, smart, and dirty-sweet as used bubble gum. [Oct 2001, p.130]
  3. It's one of those releases that reminds you that with all the experimenting and genre-blurring, there is still something simple and nice about an album that takes fairly base elements of rock and roll and creates a disc that's highly catchy.
