Frank Rose and his pathetic "Interstellar" begins ten-track, self-titled album. It is a compilation of indie rock melodies with sublimed role of synthesizers and kind of muffled sound ("Know Me", "Gospel-Grace"), characteristic to shoegaze style. It is unfortunate that there's a lack of any distinctive numbers on the record.

It may have a foot in the past, but the hooks and energy are timeless, and Rose is an immediate and striking voice in pop music right now.

This time out, the melodic knack is as assured and the tumbling songs recognisably hers, but she's found her own path. [May 2012, p.87]

Although not quite out of this world as its title suggests, Interstellar represents a haughty development in Frankie Rose's artistic capabilities.
