  1. This is an album that seethes with anger, ambition and malicious intent, and it's all the better for it.
  2. Though sometimes over-melodramatic WRM do have an edge that the likes of the Bravery lack.
  3. Even The Bravery, easily the most similar band in approach to White Rose Movement and rightly derided for their style over substance rehashes of the past, at least had a couple of memorably fine songs. The White Rose Movement, on the other hand, have the style, but little substance to back it up.

    If Editors are the British answer to Interpol, then these guys are the British answer to The Killers. If you like any of those bands or similar ones like She Wants Revenge or The Bravery, you should check this album out. It's not terribly original, just well-constructed 80's-retro-style tunes. Expand
