    An absolutely incredible pieces of music that rises and falls like nothing Burial has ever done before. This is the sound of him expanding and growing, incorporating new sounds like the bass on kindred and the beat on loner while retaining the elements that make him special such as the ghostly voices in the background and the atmospheric synths that settle into your skin. It truly matches Untrue toe to toe and then goes the distance. Hopefully its just a taste of things to come for the most important electronic artist of this generation.… Expand

    Among Burial's discography this EP stands out as his most ambitious yet touching work. Burial has crafted one of the most unique sounds that doesn't stop to evolve. The best 2012 EP so far.

    It's truly brilliant work of young British with Dubstep. Music enjoyable to analyze, this EP demonstrates the creativity and ambitious minimalism. Fantastic!

    Burial brings the intensity and attention to detail that made Untrue brilliant and creates an ambitious EP. Wielding two 10+ minute monsters, the Kindred EP presents the most triumphant and powerful classic Burial track yet in "Kindred," builds upon the minimal house leanings of "Raver" in "Loner," and breaks all of his previous restraints in the stunning, swirling "Ashtray Wasp."     A beautiful blend of sounds. Truly mesmerizing and relaxing. I really hope I see more of this artist in the future. Still my favorite song is Forgive.

    This is as close to musical genius as you can get. Simultaneously heady and minimal. Tense but free flowing. Sonic but easy. Nothing in Burial's back cataloge stands up to repeated listening like this. One of the best thinks I've ever listened too - 6 months on - in any genre.

    The six tracks divided evenly between his 20-minute 2011 return and his 30-minute 2012 stride forward, cohere almost seamlessly as the album they become when you don't have to turn any plastic over.
