    Everything about this album shouts masterpiece, a set that will thrill listeners for years, nay decades, to come.

    At times here, The Kooks are far too easily confused with their peers--the Fratellis' riff on 'Stormy Weather' and Arctic Monkeys' intro to 'Down To The Market'--the band struggle to stamp their own identity on proceedings.

    These odd moments aside, it's tempting to suggest that never before have a band--and a band who, let us remember, this writer awarded a generous 8/10 for their summery, tuneful debut--managed to nail mediocrity so definitely between its tired eyes.

    I have listened to the album over 10 times and it just gets better and better. Looking at the critics reviews at the bottom of the spectrum, you guys are nuts. This is a magical album. It is better than Brit pop and I think it stands as a marker for a change in pop sound. Buy it and enjoy. I give it my highest recommendation.… Expand

    The kooks always find the perfect medium between rock and pop. i love every song on this album. it's definitely a mature step forward from their debut album Inside In/Inside Out.… Expand
