    CSS's La Liberacion offers a much more serviceable blend of their original X-Ray Spex-style doughty amateurism with their slicker, sleeker electropop self.

    It has definitely really good songs and I don't know if I like it more than Donkey. Great collaborations SSION/Ratatat City Grrl/Red Alert. There at least 7 solid songs the ones mentioned before and Hits me like a rock, I love you, Rhythm to the rebels, **** Everything, You could have it all. And the other's are not bad--I don't know why critics gave it such a low score, did they even listen to it?… Expand

    After listening to La Liberación I’m almost 100% sure that CSS will never record anything as good as their debut, the ecstatic Cansei de Ser Sexy. While their third LP is certainly not bad or even awful **** Q), half of the tracks are colourless. Hits Me Like a Rock is an exception and a fine choice for the lead single. Red Alert shows singer Lovefoxxx’s more romantic side. It feels like the album needs more songs like this, they would be a nice counterbalance to the general fuss. Curiosity: stay till the end and listen to the lamest declaration ever.… Expand
