    Perhaps one of the telling strengths of LAX is that despite all star guest appearances from the likes of Ludacris, Travis Barker, Nas and the aforementioned Ice Cube it is very much The Game's album.

    LAX is an intense and remarkably focused record - almost every syllable concerns Compton, gangsta rap and (as one song title has it) Game's Pain - but the minor-key, would-be emotive beats of tracks such as Money or the Kanye West-produced Angel (featuring rapper Common) don't bring the best out of his expressive flow.

    Album Is Straight Classic - and the defining track is "angel" ft common, which will go down on history.

    Unfortunately, not as good as the previous albums--something missing. My Life is the star, while plenty of dogs and many mediocre tracks. Overall, compared to Kanye, Common, and Lupe the gansta act is played out. Not enough originality for my liking.… Expand

    I give him 2 for spelling his name correctly. Honestly: this must be some kind of record for name-dropping. This is among the least relevant and most derivative of any album this year, regardless of genre. GAME OVER.… Expand
