Lonely Twin is a unified creation, concerned from start to finish with existential idee fixes like death and despair, and how humanity deals with those universals.
  2. Jul 26, 2011
There's a dark undercurrent of dispossession coursing through these songs, which sound measured and conflicted even as they grasp for meaning and import. That generosity of spirit suggests Geiger knows that everyone, even Canadian collectives and celebrity kids, is an outsider looking in.
  3. Jul 26, 2011
Lonely Twin takes a sweetly woozy way through its length, at once enjoyable enough while still feeling like a recapitulation more than a way forward. Still, even with that caveat, it's pleasant enough listening.
  4. Jul 26, 2011
This isn't the solemnness of Jordan Geiger's first album, nor is it the trippy experimental rock of Minus Story, but this LP is the work of someone growing into his skin as a songwriter.
  5. Under The Radar

The album us one that easily endears itself wit its gentle, tuneful touch and just enough hazy heft to keep things interesting. [Jul 2011, p.86]
