KathleenSSep 3, 200610It is nothing like her first cd! Its fun, upbeat and great fir parties!

-
MattPJun 19, 200610Timbaland's back and stronger than ever after a long absence. The first four songs are a new direction pop music should move towards, and I'm glad to see Nelly is relying more on her hip hop side - this is the album I expected her to make instead of Folklore (after her work with Missy Elliot, Jurassic 5, and the Roots).

joshLJun 20, 200610WOW

DennisFJun 20, 200610Outstanding CD. It's really the next evolution of Nelly. There is a thread of continuity that meanders through all her albums. True fans will acknowledge it, and appreciate it.

-
JonasMJun 27, 200610the best pop album of the year!!

-
OzJul 6, 20068Gee, Pitchfork guys and all the other "serious" reviewers, take it easy! This is a fun summer iPod friendly album, and as such it works very well!!
-
-
chris-fuOct 5, 20068I have always appreciated her talent as a worldwide, but purely Canadian fellow musician. Loose is a bold transition with consistantly deep beats, which works as both a career defining album and a look through the artist's eyes. Wicked production, solid style, and brazen chemistry between Nelly and Timba.

PCJun 20, 20069By far one of the best albums of the year so far. Every song is worth its time on the CD. It's in your face, but in a completely fun and unpretentious way. LOVE it!

cesaraJun 20, 200610this is a very fun album.
-
-
RoseJun 20, 200610Definitely different from her last two albums, but the first two were not alike either. Her albums reflect her diverse musical tastes. This is the perfect summer album! The Portuguese tracks of the previous 2 albums have been replaced by Spanish ones, but the results are just as good!

MArcoFApr 29, 20073I really agree with a comment left here -shes stuck between Madonna versus Britney 10 years ago, nothing new here really !
-
-
AlešGMay 3, 20079Definitely one of best 2006 albums. Almost all songs are good, but style of them changes so they don't apply to single minded listeners. It's an achievement to produce three so different albums and all high quality. It comes to my mind Coldplay also made three and they match in quality.
-
-
TS.Jun 30, 200710one of the best albums of 2006. Yeah, people said she's not true to her roots and sexed up to sell more. I say, whatever. Those people obviously didn't listen to the whole album. I think it's really creative of Nelly Furtado to have changed the direction of of her music. It's fresh, and smart. Possibly, grammy worthy.

fredricE.Jun 7, 20079Im so happy to know i didnt missed this album, ive purcased it and im glad i did so.. songs like "promiscuous", "maneater", "say it right" and check this one "ALL GOOD THINGS" are very gooood.. all of those songs are so addictive.. nelly furtado always releases a really good album.. i like it so much!!

StinaDec 4, 20061i HATED this album because nelly did not stay true to herself...her first two albums were beautiful because they were different and no one had heard anything like it. now shes only fallen into the all too common world of hip hop...which she SUCKS at trying to do by the way
-
-
DrewFJun 19, 20062When all else fails, slut yourself up!

-
NathanJun 19, 200610This album is HOT!!! I've been a fan of her's since the beginning and she just keeps getting better. Way to go Nelly!

elyzJun 21, 20067Although Timbaland gave her a new sound.....I do wish that she included her original sound as well into the CD for a few songs.

MattD.Jun 20, 20065This CD is too tense and contrived. There's not enough of the playfulness found on Gwen Stefani's latest CD.
-
-
WilliamVJun 21, 200610Joyful! Wonderful! Ecletic!
-
-
AllanTJun 20, 20069Easy to like tracks. You could clearly hear other artists influence, but I still enjoyed. I enjoyed hearing different styles but yet it all held together well. Definite growth since Whoa Nelly. That album was naive fun, this is fun but there is maturity.
-
-
christiangJun 22, 200610This is diferent from Whoa Nelly (which I love), but still it's one hell of an album
-
-
LuisGJun 24, 20068....Nelly has finally found a niche...timbaland does her so much justice....comparisons to GWEN are unaviodable....but here we actually believe teh music and the artist.....nelly is not playin a part she is really a dance/ hip hop/ pop galore DIVA where gwen was passer by NELLY is definetly on FIRE !!!! i really enjoy the album

MarcoJun 26, 200610Great album. It is simple as that. No need to compare to others when it is just Nelly providing great music. She is unique, using different beats and being just Nelly.
-
-
RobCJul 19, 20063Really Bad, she´s going down. What happened with the folk??. All i hear is cheap reggeaton.

jaymAug 14, 20067timbaland is simply the man behind the boards & i think his collaboration with Nelly is unique albeit unusual due 2 the fact that they come 4rom different musical backgrounds but nonetheless the project is a banger...stop hating & appreciate when something different & good is accomplished!

-
leshSep 25, 20063I was so happy when Promiscuous was nearing the end of its heavy play curve on the radio waves. Too bad they chose to replace it with this techno attempt throw back to the '80s original by Hall & Oates... sorry if most of you are too young for the reference - YouTube it to get up to speed.

AlexanderT.Jul 15, 200710This album is awesome, the best of her three so far. It is a perfect mix of the new reinvented Nelly (evident on tracks such as Maneater and No Hay Igual) and the old folkier songs of her past two releases (of special note, Te Busque, and In God's hands). It also includes one of the greatest singles of recent history, Say it right.
-
-
AdamE.Jul 17, 200710this album is really something special I admit it a long ways away from 'I'm Like A Bird'. But I enjoy how she is dipping into new genres. My personal favorites are 'In God's Hands','Afraid' and All Good Things (Come To An End). Check out the cd it is an explosion of artistic freedom.

ChrisWJun 19, 200610Loved it! Nelly Furtado is so sexy and it really comes though in her songs.
-
-
LynetteTJun 19, 20069I have been a Nelly fan since "Whoa, Nelly!", and I have been eagerly awaiting a new album from her. While I have read other opinions from fans being disappointed in her "selling out", I find the album to be a fun and upbeat summer release. I have been listening to the whole album on MTV's The Leak several times, and I'll be buying the album tomorrow.
-
-
JimboJimJun 21, 20063Yea, this album might as well be called Timbaland because it seems as though he does more on this album then Nelly Furtado does herself. This doesn't sound like Nelly at all.
-
-
ArmenS.Jun 21, 200610This is a hot CD! It has everything that a pop album should. A welcome change for Nelly, it's exciting to see her do something totally different on each album. It's HAUT!
-
-
AlanRJun 22, 20060The ultimate in modern stupidity.
-
-
LawrenceLJun 22, 200610This cd is a change for Nelly, but it's welcome and she manages to make the transition retaining the same smarts as she did with Folklore and Whoa, Nelly! It's catchy and will be well-appreciated by anyone intelligent enough to give it a chance, instead of shooting it down because it's different. Impressive.
-
-
adrianrJun 25, 20068lots of pop hooks. lots of attitude. and some meaningful lyrics.
-
-
KeyonT.Jun 29, 20064A few good songs (e.g., Maneater), the rest is stuck somewhere between Madonna and Britney from half a decade ago... Mediocre and tired. Nothig original here.
-
-
GisellaJul 12, 200610I love this album, I can't remember the last time I loved an album. AWESOME
-
-
MarvinOAug 14, 200655 or 6 good songs, some of them I'd go as far as to call great songs. But the album as a whole doesn't work. A big disappointment after how good her first 2 albums were. However, if the good songs end up being released, I might be half pleased with her. My album hightlights: Maneater Afraid No Hay Igual Do It Glow Promiscuous Say It Right is ok, too.

-
jamesjJan 14, 200710i have not idea what some people are saying that it doesnt sound like her this is so nelly hear the first two albums this is just more alternative r&b which she had always done in the first place. this album is allsome such a different variety of her in this album which is what shes about always doing something different. love this album
-
-
JocelynLJan 15, 20079This album reflected her new style, her collabo with Juanes was unexpected. I loved it. I could really relate to the lyrics to her songs. With Mr.Tim Mosley producing the beats and Nelly's emotional lyrics, the songs made hits! Who knew the girl next door could rap? This was one of the best comebacks of 2006! Go Nelly!, You're hot and beautiful!
-
-
ZsoltBMar 31, 200710OH! It is perfect! I think Maneater is the greatest song of 2006. I can still listen it anytime.... and I love Afraid, Say It Right etc etc etc
-
-
WolfApr 18, 20079Say it Right? Say Nelly Furtado! Her best album to date! A great variation of songs, good lyrics and stunning cover art. If you haven't bought 'Loose' yet, you’re missing out!

Apr 14, 201110With club-ready songs like "Maneater" and "Promiscuous", quiet soothing songs like "In God's Hands", "Showtime" and "Alll Good Things (Come to An End)", and all the rest, "Loose" is the perfect mix. I admit that "Whoa, Nelly!" and "Folklore" have more quiet and less "poppy" songs, but "Loose" is perfect for anyone, anywhere.

80Loose is slick, smart and surprising - the first great pop album of the year.
-
80Aside from a few duff tracks 'Loose' is an absolute beauty that couldn't have arrived at a better moment.
-
70It probably won't appeal to all, and some of Furtado's fans may be hugely turned off by the more danceable tracks. Yet Timbaland has revitalized Furtado - this is the sound of an artist having the time of her life.
