Alternative PressLost In The Sound Of Separation is truly 2008's first perfect record. [Sep 2008, p.145]
-
It doesn't take long for Separation to rescue itself from painfully serious, aggro-MTV mediocrity, as those two tracks are quickly followed up by the riveting 'A Fault Line, A Fault of Mine' and 'Emergency Broadcast: The End Is Near.'
-
Underoath has made definitive strides at progression without abandoning the muscular, broad-shouldered hardcore that made it a household name.
-
When Underoath hits it they hit it well, and Lost in the Sound of Separation is still a very good record despite its faults.
