Blinding - knock off the last couple of songs, add the rest to Love Is Hell Part 1 and you've got the album of the year. Note to record lable: clean your ears out you idiots!

This one is just a tad bit better than part one and infinitly better than Rock n Roll. Part one and two are definite listens for people who think Ryan has lost his touch.

It's no Heartbreaker, but it's still better than most everything else that's out there. At least that's my opinion, dammit.

  1. As tough a slog as the backend of Part 1 is, it's Part 2 that truly reveals just how rushed, haphazard and ill-formed Adams' stab at morose mope-rock is.
  2. Seven riveting explorations that don't sound like anything else in his songbook.
  3. Although 'Love Is Hell' comes with the assumption that it's more honest than 'Rock'n'Roll', the influences here - albeit different - are just as distracting. [Review applicable to both Part 1 and Part 2]
