With unforgettable lyrics and an amazing production and beats, Love King is The-Dream's best sounding album yet and probably the best rap album I've heard this year alongside Big Boi's Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty. Keep'em comin'.

I don't understand why The-Dream isn't as popular as Lady Gaga. He is essentially her male equivalent, in the sense that they are both revolutionary pop stars, dripping with sexual culture and American materialism. Whether that's good or bad is irrelevant. Love King doesn't win points for subtlety but, as an example of a producer at the top of his game, it's second to none.
  2. Regardless of whether Love King proves the smash he clearly hopes it will be, Nash will, undoubtedly, continue to churn out melody after melody.
  3. Less sprawling but just as richly detailed as Love vs Money, the 12-track set contains several of the-Dream's finest numbers yet.
