One listen to The Computers' latest album will show you how much they've grown since the aggro punk 'n' roll of 2008's You Can't Hide From The Computers. [27 Apr 2013, p.54]

As the ever revolving wheel of influence spins to bring each individual ingredient to the fore, The Computers are not afraid to wear these influences unashamedly on their sleeves and in doing so have managed to produce a highly infectious piece of rock ā€˜nā€™ roll.
  3. Most of LTHS consists of thumping soul-pop reminiscent of JoBoxers or high-energy Hives-like garage rock, and even if it errs on the side of sameyness, it's rarely dull.

A lot of the sounds they try on Love Triangles Hate Squares fit them, and their polish and savvy suits them as well as the slicked-back pompadours they wear on the album's artwork.

Love Triangles Hate Squares is a forceful blast of passion-fired pastiche, but never quite escapes feeling like a cheap holiday in other people's history. [May 2013, p.87]

Shocking, in the best sense. [May 2013, p.99]

For all of the frontman's dynamism, he can't save a frustratingly slow, out-of-date computer.
