    It is her in the flesh and I love it. It's going in my collection. She is SADE and no can take that from her. That voice is sheer elegance and style.

    Unfurls like one long dream with a forlorn diva crooning ballads of love and sorrow through a indistinct haze of late-night fog. You wake up with your heart aching, but not remember many details.

    One of Sade's most perfected albums. Her vocals are round and warm as usual, the production is clean, precise, well balanced and full of feel and emotions. Superb engineering work was done on the recording. It is one of my top ten albums for sure!

    Sade represents modern soul music at its best. With Lovers Rock, they recapture most - if not all - of their inventive genius made legendary from their previous album, Love Deluxe. One of the decades best albums.
