A solid album from a long time favorite artist. While there are a number of great songs, I was underwhelmed by this album. It just made me long for a new Ween album, or even some original work by Aaron. I was also disappointing by the packaging. Digipak is such a cop out. For someone who still enjoys purchasing albums it is a disappointment to get a cardboard folder with a CD in it. IfA solid album from a long time favorite artist. If the CD had not been cheaper than purchasing the MP3 version, I would have felt ripped off. Collapse

Freeman's folk-pop tip of the hat is so sweetly earnest that you just might feel moved to blow the dust off your own acoustic guitar. [Jun 2012, p.153]

When the record works, it's unarguably charming. [#86, p.54]

This is a solid record, but nothing to dissuade interest in some Aaron Freeman originals.
