Sep 12, 2016I'd love to give this album a 10, but I feel a band can only have a couple 10s. Color spectrum and Act II take that crown. Regardless, the amount of thought that went into this album blows my feeble mind. I've never seen an album flow so gracefully between such vastly different musical flavors.

Apr 24, 2013Although thematic unity and incredibly elaborate composition is rarely bad, the most important element in popular music is superior songwriting, and Migrant is bursting with it.

Alternative PressApr 9, 2013At times lushly orchestral and at others achingly stark, Migrant is the masterfully actualized first chapter in the true story of the Dear Hunter--the band. [May 2013, p.88]

Apr 9, 2013While Migrant is Casey Crescenzo’s most accessible record ever, it’s also his most honest and real Dear Hunter LP yet.
