Here, he uses this talent to capture the feel of an unsettled nomadic life (the album was recorded during his travels around the world whilst on tour). Quite unlike more recent efforts, this album is given tons of time to breath. Within his discography, it's all the better for it. Excellent vocal contributions and a variety of unique sounds, it's an incredible auditory experience and I would expect nothing less from the master.… Collapse

    I am a huge fan of Bonobo, he is definitely in my top 5 favorite artists. This album has some great tracks that suggest a blend of his NorthI am a huge fan of Bonobo, he is definitely in my top 5 favorite artists. This album has some great tracks that suggest a blend of his North Borders electronic style with his more eclectic sound that he promoted on Days to Come. Some of the highlights for me include the serene Break Apart, the piano filled Migration, and the two ending tracks 7th Sevens and Figures. For me though, the album as a whole falls a little short of what I've come to expect from a Bonobo album. Some of the tracks feel a bit like filler rely too heavily on a generic club beat to keep the energy going. Maybe this album will grow on me a bit more with time, but I can't help but feel a little let down with this album when I think about how great his other albums are. I am still very excited to see the live show though, perhaps it will breathe a different energy into some of the songs.… Expand
