    I am loving this album. I was a big fan of White Rabbits first two albums, but this one is definitely different. To me their movement is similar to how Radiohead's music matured. From the fun rock to a spacier endeavour of ambient noises, which I think they pulled off wonderfully, but at the same time not as complex as Radiohead songs. They are surely on a fun path musically and if theyI am loving this album. I was a big fan of White Rabbits first two albums, but this one is definitely different.     Milk Famous was born in the shadow of It's Frightening's greatness. It never really eclipses It's Frightening, but I don't think it was ever intended to. Milk Famous is a smaller, more personal endeavor. On it's own merits, it's worth a visit.

    I only listened to this album because of a debate I was having with a DJ about whether White Rabbits were an electronica band.Hmmm I said, pretty darn good, think I'll see them live.Yes,that answered the question,not an electeronica band but a darn good one! What a happy outcome from a debate.I hear them having fun and embellishing their sound with textures, to me they are more akin toI only listened to this album because of a debate I was having with a DJ about whether White Rabbits were an electronica band.Hmmm I said, pretty darn good, think I'll see them live.Yes,that answered the question,not an electeronica band but a darn good one!     Milk Famous. Is. Fantastic. While the White Rabbits are one of the best live bands I have seen in the last couple years, I have found their albums to be pretty good but not great. Milk Famous knocked me out, however. People often fall into a trap of comparing them too much to Spoon and this album helps overcome that by experimenting and creating delicious soundscapes and textures. TheMilk Famous. Is. Fantastic. While the White Rabbits are one of the best live bands I have seen in the last couple years, I have found their albums to be pretty good but not great. Milk Famous knocked me out, however. People often fall into a trap of comparing them too much to Spoon and this album helps overcome that by experimenting and creating delicious soundscapes and textures.     On the new album "Milk Famous" White Rabbits group managed to place a pretty decent indie rock material, sometimes combined with a pop themes - for example "Heavy Metal" or "Hold It To The Fire". Even more alternative compositions ("Temporary", "Danny Come Inside") rub along.

    The Kasabian-ish 'Danny Come Inside', with its predatory stride, and the tautly atmospheric 'Had It Coming' are rallying gear shifts; disappointingly, the remainder of 'Milk Famous' seems to be on cruise control.

    Listening to Milk Famous is like playing a game of connect-the-dots. Running free with eclectic percussion sounds and choppy piano riffs, this album is where blue-eyed soul, Radiohead, Spoon, punk, and ska revival all come out to play, and surprisingly, all these sounds play nice together-this album is a satisfying musical experience.
