  1. B-list Wu cronies contribute a few too many forgettable guest verses, but Ghost's technique has never been deadlier.
  2. If March's "Fishscale" was his "Highway '61 Revisited" or "Innervisions", "More Fish" is "John Wesley Harding" or "Fulfillingness' First Finale". It may lack something of the lustre, but it's still a gem from a master operating very much at the peak of his powers.
  3. While it could be asserted that More Fish is leftovers to Fishscale's ten-course spread, we're still talking about something well beyond your average table scraps.

Bizarre, but brilliant. [Mar 2007, p.100]
  5. While More Fish is far from worthless, it's still a diluted product.
  6. There’s enough to make this little Def Jam tax write-off worthy of a listen for anyone that liked Fishscale, not just Ghostface completists.

[It] isn't so much More Fish as it is Cheap Fish. [Mar 2007, p.81]

Ghost comes correct on every verse he spits... there are only a couple tracks i consider skippable, but other than that it's a solid collection of leftover tracks from the Fishscale recordings... worth every penny... basically anything Ghost puts out is. Strait dope! This album is Ghost-Deini at his best. Hard lyrics and beats make this a must have for music lovers in general. There are 2 Strait dope! This album is Ghost-Deini at his best. Trife Da God shines and so does Sun God at times. Go cop it if you ain't got it. Collapse

Surprisingly decent part-crew album, with tons of bangers and tons of skippable tracks. Wildly uneven and plagued by poor production values Surprisingly decent part-crew album, with tons of bangers and tons of skippable tracks. Wildly uneven and plagued by poor production values at times, if an editor sat down and winnowed out a few tracks it could have been a solid outing. Sheek, Trife and (obviously) Ghostface come correct, Wigs needs to be taken out back. Expand
