    As brainless butt-shaking goes, it's still a pretty good ride. [20 Jan 2006, p.71]

It's hard to take the band too seriously, but the songs are debaucherous fun. [14 Jan 2006]
  3. The music on the group's debut album... feels as if it was inspired by awkward adolescent feel-up LPs by the likes of Pat Benatar and Cheap Trick.
  4. Calculated space-age power rock.
  5. Morningwood still feels like calculated fluff, even if it's calculated fluff that's mildly fun.
  6. Sure, Morningwood is trashy, enjoyable, and utterly insignificant entertainment, but so is shotgunning a can of Pabst Blue Ribbon.
  7. Sounds like a band mashing all the current trends and ending up with nothing.

Boy is this album being underrated by critics. Chantal Claret is delightfully sneering some times and playfully Go-Gos like other times. I Boy is this album being underrated by critics. This album is really great. From Jetsetter to Nth Degree. I would definitely reccommend this neo-classic album to anyone who's into the genre.

A decent attempt at getting kids to move to sexually charged care free tunes. Marred by the lack of diversity within the instruments, and A decent attempt at getting kids to move to sexually charged care free tunes. Marred by the lack of diversity within the instruments, and song structure. Ultimately it tries to pay homage to the better moments in punk and alternative (The Stooges, Nirvana, Pixies, etc...) but ends up sounding like an anemic rip off. Key Tracks: Nu Rock, Everybody Rules, Take off Your Clothes, Expand
