    The common theme of liberation and freedom on Martin's new album are clearly result of his coming out last year. For this, I respect his work on this album. I'm glad he's developing more as an artist, but the result isn't that impressive. If I had to compare this to popular music now, it really doesn't stand up to anything I'm hearing currently.     A solid album about freedom, liberation, and diversity. Most songs are feel-good and catchy ("Más"), and others are sentimental ("Shine"). "Too Late Now" is a fun, bouncy bonus track.

    Theoretically, this loosening of expectations would give him some freedom to roam on Musica + Alma + Sexo, and it does to the extent that he does not feel compelled to devote the record to the English language.
