    Napalm finds X fluctuating between trying to recapture the sound he perfected when he was cavorting with the Aftermath staff, and exploring elder statesmanship a la "Thank You" from 2006's Full Circle. When he goes too far in pursuit of either extreme, Napalm falters.

    I was hoping of not hearing other albums by Xzibit but we are been contradicted.     only a few songs on here stood out that i taken have liking for. the others however i wasn't really feeling. production was poor for a fewonly a few songs on here stood out that i taken have liking for. the others however i wasn't really feeling. production was poor for a few songs. his past albums were backed up by some pretty good producers and had memorable songs that you play over and over again without getting sick tired of, on this one the beats aren't flashy or catchy same goes with the hooks. seems xzibit being in the spotlight for awhile has rendered his ability to craft music. hopefully he will find his way again.… Full Review »

Tracks such as "State of Hip-Hop vs. Xzibit", "Louis XIII", and "Movies",This album has its mountain highs and its valley lows for sure. Tracks such as "State of Hip-Hop vs. Xzibit", "Louis XIII", and "Movies", great, but then tracks like "Napalm", "Up Out the Way", and "Enjoy the Night", might be some of the worst songs ever. Now, there are more highs and than lows, but beyond the good tracks I mentioned, nothing knocks your socks off. Overall, it was alright.… Full Review »
