    A very fine record. [Feb 2003, p.86]
  2. It's an old-fashioned record, feeling as if it was nearly 30 years old, even when it's informed by relatively recent funk, rock and jam bands.
  3. 60
Robinson establishes himself as a distinctive singer, his world-weary yet optimistic drawl no longer beholden to the rock larynxes of yore. [#11, p.140]

New Earth Mud is the best CD I've heard in a while. It's a CD I will never get tired of. I've seen Chris solo 3 times and the songs are even better live. Expand

Stellar work. Does take a little time to grow on you as it's pretty mellow. Beautiful songwriting.

Este disco está muy bien hecho, sonidos muy finos y arreglos excelentes hacen de este disco un imprecindible . Grande Chris Robinson, mantiene vivo el espiritu de los Crowes en esta producción. Expand
