    I've followed new music pretty closely this year, and I have to say that this is easily the most enjoyable, all the way through, full-length I've heard so far - and that's saying a U.S. ton because there's been a lot of great new music. Yeah, this album's fresh, but it's also familiar and doesn't tire like a lot of the stuff coming out this year that's trying to be something new, rather then itself. The playing is great, the melodies rich with all sorts of hope and emotions. I've seen this band live, and they slay. I'd love to see them now at this new peak, and this album deserves your attention. If you're a romantic, or understand what somebody means when they talk about yearning, then this music just might be for you. If you prefer songs about love and life, and real poetic existence, then this just might be what you've been looking for.… Expand

    Excellent consistency in this record, dare I say accessible compared to Rocket to the Moon or Axes, but enjoyable - at least my favorite album of the year.… Expand
