On Nothing Violates This Nature, the Boston hardcore mob demonstrate once and for all that they’re far more than the sum of their parts. It is also one of the angriest and most violent records you will encounter in 2013.

It’s different enough from its predecessor to show marked progress, but with all the original essentials present and correct. The bar was set high; All Pigs Must Die have set it higher still.

All this makes Nothing Violates This Nature seem like an exhausting listen, and it really is, but when it comes to unfiltered anger and catharsis, accept no substitutes.

There is a superhuman force and a willfully ignorant level of intensity involved in this band’s approach that simply places them in a realm almost entirely free of peers.

Just because you can't see what's about to hit you, it doesn't mean it can't knock you off your feet, and that's exactly what All Pigs Must Die do here. Repeatedly. [3 Aug 2013, p.54]

At times, this straightforward approach, along with a smoother production sound, strips the Massachusetts quartet of the nuanced breakdowns and guitar leads that made their previous material so captivating.

It does what a hardcore record is supposed to do: fill you will fear, anxiety and the threat of impending violence.
