Numbers can be applauded as the mature nature and notably impressive songwriting displays progression from MellowHype's older riotous material.

Numbers proves that MellowHype are capable of making a good album without employing the over-the-top antics or shock themes they initially used to capture attention.

Numbers is a solid rap record, but MellowHype have shown themselves to be capable of more.

It's that line between accessible and alienating that MellowHype have so brilliantly walked, making Numbers an engaging album from some of Odd Future's best and brightest.

With Mellowhype's patented dark and scary sound, each song grows on you with more listens. The cheap sounding synths and production in general shouldn't be a surprise to anyone, as it is the same with the Odd Future and most of it's members' mixtapes. Hodgy is still growing and emerging as one of Odd Future's best and brightest, with having flow and voice reminiscent of Childish Gambino and Kanye West. Overall, this album is a nice add to the Odd Future catalogue. Full Review »

Hodgy Beats unlike his partner is becoming one of the best rappers in the game. Good lyrics and a bad production, make Numbers significantly lower than BlackenedWhite. Full Review »
