a well crafted electronic pop album,reminds me of human leage's dare

There is not really anything negative to say about this album. No, it won't change your life, but it sure as hell will give you confidence that a major label can deliver, albeit rarely. Bottom line here; if DJ's had enough talent to wrap some other great indie/electroclash tunes around these tunes and bring them out into the dance floor, it would make most other 'dancey9; material sound amateurish and not particularly sophisticated. Fun, consistent, tighter, more listenable songs than most of the indie-pop pap most of the world seems to be hanging itself on thse days. Good follow up to their first album. No, it's not the best thing ever, but compared to some of the things other people are claiming IS the best thing ever, it's a breath of fresh air. Rather than turning me off, it makes me want even more. What more could be asked for in a sophomore effort?… Expand

really awful, impossible to listen more than 3 songs. The single is worst than "another brick iin the wall"

What album was E! Onlone listening to? It's funny because there are two sources I always have the opposite reaction to: Rollong Stone and E! Online. They should concentrate on photos of Jet and Jessica Simpson! This album is a great companion to The Faint's "Wet from birth". Oh, by the way, who said electroclash was dead??? It's still in the Ford Model T stage of development.

I think it's a flawless pop album. A future classic......

My favorite album of the year. Awesome!

This record is a complete coming of age for Fischerspooner. Never has a sophmoric effort been a complete and udder transformation as this record for the NY duo. Linda Perry and Tony Hoffer's nob twirling magic shows how truly underappreciated Fischerspooner's music is. Mirwais adds that breath of fresh air to "Cloud" and "Never Win;" an obvious choice for a 2nd or 3rd single. "A Kick In The Teeth" & "Get Confused," (penned by David Byrne) are the standout tracks for me on this record. Thumbs way up for the duo who have demonstrated the power of pushing the envelope.… Expand

People talk about a comeback record, or simply that they were able to maintain the level quality of their first record. Truth is this album is on a whole other level then its predecesor.

Odyssey is one of the most underated albums of 2005. With the exception of Wednesday, there isn't much filler here. Excelent pop melodies with electronic beats without being "electroclash."
