MSAug 13, 20097Schizophrenic in its mellowness and straight out country guitar-outs. Probably the second best Neil Young album you'll hear this year.

HooverPJun 28, 20099If you read Christian Hoard's 3-sentence review in RollingStone, you'll realize he may not have even listened to the whole album. I can't believe RS even paid him for such a lazy, slapdash effort.

Sep 29, 201110I own about 6,000 albums overall and this is one of my all time favs ever. Ben Knox Miller is a genius as are the others in this band. They are uber talented and everyone should know them and listen to them. They are truely a beacon in the night of an otherwise trashy music industry. Too bad shrimp has no clue who these guys are for they are not the Killers or Coldplay.

There's a lot of ground covered here, of course, yet the band never loses sight of its destination, and those who can keep up are in for a tuneful journey.
-
Somehow, though, it soars, the title track especially.

Whether soft or loud, these 12 songs are exquisite.
